What is Bhakti Yoga?

‘Bhakti’ means love, service and devotion to God. ‘Yoga’ means to link-up or connect. Thus, ‘Bhakti Yoga’ is the process of connecting with God by loving service. The most significant benefit of Bhakti Yoga is that it helps one feel the love of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in every aspect of one’s life, internally and externally. Bhakti Yoga is a holistic approach to all aspects of life: spiritual, mental, and physical. Bhakti Yoga treats a person as a complete unit, as a unique combination of body, mind, and soul; and its techniques bring about a body-mind-soul harmony. Bhakti Yoga is universal in its approach and application with no geographical boundaries. With regular practice of the balanced series of techniques, the energies of the body and mind can be expanded and the quality of consciousness can be enhanced.

Bhakti Yoga Club will provide spiritual resources to its members to link soul to God (yoga), by means of devotional activities (Bhakti).
